League of Legends: Wild Rift is something I’m very excited to play on iOS. The mobile (and console) take on League of Legends was revealed alongside other projects from Riot Games a while ago with Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra having already been released worldwide. Earlier this month, Riot Games announced a regional open beta for League of Legends: Wild Rift with it expanding to more regions over time. League of Legends: Wild Rift was also heavily featured in the iPhone 12 event alongside 5G. Today, the regional open beta for League of Legends: Wild Rift has gone live on both iOS and Android. Alongside the beta, Riot Games also released a brand new cinematic trailer and gameplay showcase.
League of Legends: Wild Rift‘s regional open beta is now available to all players in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. In December, the open beta will expand to Europe, Oceania, Vietnam, and Taiwan. The current target for the Americas is Spring 2021. If you’re in any of the regions mentioned above, you can download League of Legends: Wild Rift on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here for free. Check out the official League of Legends: Wild Rift website here and the official latest patch notes here. For those outside those regions, you can pre-register for it on Google Play for Android here as well. What do you think of the gameplay so far and are you looking forward to playing League of Legends: Wild Rift through the regional open beta or will you be waiting for the full launch?
